The best financial app allows Shiba Inu card payment
xPortal, a crypto-based financial application on the MultiversX blockchain, has added Shiba Inu among the crypto assets usable through its map service.
In an announcement on Friday, xPortal revealed that it is opening new top-up avenues for its crypto debit card service. Following the update, crypto enthusiasts can now top up their cards with various crypto assets such as Shiba Inu and spend them immediately.
Notably, other assets added by xPortal as new top-up possibilities for its debit card service include Chainlink (LINK), Uniswap (UNI), popular meme coins Dogecoin (DOGE) and PEPE, and stablecoins USDT and USDC.

xPortal Map Service supporting Shiba Inu
xPortal is a global payment application and non-custodial crypto wallet based on MultiverseX (EGLD). It allows users to trade and manage their cryptocurrencies directly from their mobile devices. The team prides itself on the wallet’s security features, claiming that it is tamper-proof, thanks to its on-chain 2FA.
Shiba Inu enthusiasts You can get xPortal’s debit card solution by downloading the app via the Apple App Store, Google Play Store and Huawei AppGallery.
The card issuance fee is free. However, a €10 charge applies for the delivery of a physical card while a 1.49% fee applies for cryptocurrency purchases. Users can notably get up to 5% cashback.
Reacting to the announcement, a US-based crypto enthusiast deplored that xPortal’s map service is not available to Americans. In response to the remark, one X user offered comfort saying that once there is a change of direction With the upcoming election, the usual crypto restrictions for US residents would be relaxed through favorable regulations.

Growing List of SHIB Card Payment Services
With this latest development, xPortal joins the growing list of crypto-based financial service providers that have integrated support for Shiba Inu payments via various payment methods.
In 2023, BitPay collaborated with Sardine to enable SHIB card payments in over 180 countries. Additionally, in the same year, the Gate.io exchange spear a debit card supporting Shiba Inu payments across Europe.
More recently, the CryptoCom app extended its support for Shiba Inu acceptance for Visa card funding. Additionally, Binance’s crypto debit card restored Support for Shiba Inu payment this month, building on its initial integration in August 2022.
