Robinhood Markets Aims to List Cryptocurrency Futures in U.S. and Europe – Report (NASDAQ:HOOD)

- Robinhood Markets (NASDAQ:HOOD) plans to offer cryptocurrency futures in the U.S. and Europe this year, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
- The company is looking to use Bitstamp’s licenses to offer perpetual futures for Bitcoin (BTC-USD exchange rate) and other tokens in Europe, the report says.
- Last month, Robinhood Markets (HOOD) has agreed to acquire Bitstamp, a global cryptocurrency exchange, for $200 million.
- The report further states that the company plans to list BTC and Ether (ETH-USD) CME futures in the United States
- HOOD shares fell 1.8%.
