Cryptocurrency ATM installations are increasing around the world, near an all-time high – DL News

- Nearly 6,000 cryptocurrency ATMs have been added in the last 11 months.
The number of cryptocurrency ATMs available worldwide has reached 38,279, approaching a record high of 39,541 in December 2022, according to for data from the coin ATM radar.
Nearly 6,000 cryptocurrency ATMs have been added in the past 11 months as the cryptocurrency market recovers; they are available in 72 countries and are manufactured by 43 different companies.
The number of crypto ATMs fell during the bear market from late 2022 to July 2023, when there were fewer than 33,000 such machines available to handle crypto transactions.
So far this year, 2,564 cryptocurrency ATMs have been added, following a loss of 2,861 machines in 2023.
The US has the highest number of cryptocurrency ATMs at 31,916. Canada is second, with 3,024, and Australia is third, with 1,107.
Australia could surpass Europe’s 1,584 ATMs if installations continue to increase, Cointelegraph he has reportedas the country surpassed 1,000 locations in April.
El Salvador, which in 2021 became the first country to make Bitcoin legal tender, 215 locations.
